What age can babies attend?

Our classes are designed for babies from birth until they start crawling.

We warmly welcome babies who are born prematurely and understand that their journey is unique.  Please share any specific details or adjustments your baby needs on our booking form so that we can be fully prepared to support you both in the best possible way.

Question 2

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

We provide a mat and blanket for you and your little one at every session. All you need to bring is a towel from home—the familiar scent helps your baby feel secure and relaxed. Since massage can be a bit slippery, pick a towel you don’t mind getting a little oil on!
Please also bring your usual feeding and changing supplies. We recommend dressing your baby in loose, comfortable clothing that is easy to remove so we can get straight to the relaxation.

What type of oil is used for massage?

We use organic, cold-pressed sunflower oil. We choose this specifically because it is fragrance-free, deeply nourishing, and packed with skin-loving vitamins. Because it is plant-based, it is natural, edible, and poses a minimal risk of irritation—making it the safest choice for your baby's delicate skin.

What if I am unable to attend one class in the 5 week course?

We know that life with a baby doesn't always go to plan! If you can’t attend, please let us know as soon as possible. While we cannot offer refunds for missed sessions due to our small class sizes, we will do our absolute best to find you a spot in an alternative class later that week, provided space is available.

Is parking available at your venues?

Yes absolutely!
St Leonards Centre (Oakley): There is a small on-site car park, with plenty of additional easy parking along Rectory Road.
Lychpit Village Hall: You’ll find dedicated parking right next to the hall in the car park adjacent to Tesco.

What if my baby cries/sleeps/needs a feed during a class?

Please don't worry—our classes are entirely baby-led. We want you to feel completely comfortable putting your baby’s needs first. Whether they need feeding, a nappy change, or just a quiet cuddle, you are encouraged to do exactly what they need in the moment. If your little one falls asleep, you are welcome to use one of our demonstration dolls to practice the massage strokes so you’re ready to try them at home later!

Do you have insurance?

Yes, absolutely! We are fully insured through Balens, a specialist provider for the health, wellbeing, and fitness industries. Being covered by a specialist insurer means our practice meets high professional standards, ensuring a safe and protected environment for every massage session.

Question 8

Can I bring a buggy to the venues?

Accepted Answer

Both our venues are fully accessible and buggy friendly. Here is how it works at each location:
Oakley St Leonards:  Our class is located upstairs. Don't worry about the stairs though- there is a lift available to bring you and your buggy up easily. Once upstairs, we have a designated area where you can park easily.
Lychpit Hall: You can bring your buggy directly into the main hall with you. We have plenty of space to park them at one end of the room so that they are nearby but out of the way of the massage mats.
