Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

  • Registration: All registration is completed online through our website. Please ensure that your details are filled out correctly on the booking form. Mini Massage classes are designed exclusively for parents/guardians and their babies. To maintain the intended environment and comply with our capacity and insurance requirements, we ask for only one parent per child. Unfortunately, classes are not open to professional care providers including nannies or childminders who may wish to attend in a professional capacity with a child. We kindly ask that additional adults (grandparents or friends) also do not attend with you.

  • Payment Methods: All payments are through our online payment system. We use Square payments so we accept all major debit and credit cards. Payments are non-refundable.

  • Twins discount: Classes are charged per family as opposed to per child. The cost of both twins will be covered under one course booking.

  • Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once full payment is completed via the website. You will receive an automated confirmation on the website and an email confirmation will also be sent. Please read and check your booking information carefully.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Course cancellations: Our courses are non-refundable however if you have booked a course well in advance and need to defer your start date, we will try our best to accommodate this where possible.

  • Missed Classes: No refunds are given for individual missed sessions (including but not limited to illness, naps or booked holidays). We will provide you with the handouts for the missed material. Where possible, we will offer an alternative class for you to attend if there is space that week. This is at the discretion of the instructor and will need to be agreed before attending a different class.

  • Older siblings: Our classes are designed for babies only and therefore older siblings are unfortunately unable to attend our classes. We are unable to offer refunds in these circumstances.

  • Provider Cancellations: If Mini Massage must cancel a session due to instructor illness or venue issues, we will offer a make up date for that session. Mini Massage will endeavour to run classes in the case of bad weather but if these need to be cancelled, you will be contacted and a make up date will be arranged.

3. Health and Safety

  • Supervision Mini Massage provides instruction only. Parents/guardians remain 100% responsible for their child at all times during the session. All babies must be supervised by their parent at all times and not left unattended. We reserve the right to discontinue classes if a parent or guardian’s behaviour is deemed unreasonable by our instructor.

  • Risk assessments: Mini Massage conducts risk assessments of our venues and equipment to ensure that they are suitable and safe for our customers.

  • Pre-Class Registration: When booking our course, you must complete the booking form and clearly declare any allergies or medical conditions that may affect massage for either yourself or your baby. Should anything change with your baby’s health, it is your responsibility to update us on these changes.

  • Medical Clearance: It is your responsibility to consult a GP or health visitor for medical approval if your baby has a pre-existing medical condition that may affect massage.

  • Vaccinations: It is recommended to wait 48 hours after a baby receives immunizations before attending a massage class to ensure the baby is not experiencing a fever or localized pain.

  • Illness: Please keep your baby at home if they have:

  • A fever or has had one in the previous 24 hours

  • An upset stomach or diarrhoea in the previous 48 hours

  • Heavy nasal discharge

  • Discharging eyes

If they have any symptoms of the following communicable diseases then we also ask for them to remain at home:

  • Measles

  • Chicken pox

  • German measles

  • Whooping cough

  • Impetigo

  • Scarlett fever

  • Hand, foot and mouth disease

  • Norovirus

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for a lesson missed due to illness.

  • Hygiene protocols: All mats and equipment are thoroughly sanitized with baby-safe, non-toxic disinfectants after every session. We ask for shoes to be removed on the mats to reduce transmission of microorganisms.

  • Choice of Oil: We recommend organic, cold-pressed sunflower oil. We avoid nut-based oils and essential oils due to potential sensitivities. Parents will be asked to apply a small amount of oil on the baby’s skin (usually the leg or arm) at the start of the first session prior to starting massage.
